410th MW renders Honor to the newly promoted WC


Members of the Restorers Family celebrated the one star rank promotion of the Wing Commander of 410th Maintenance Wing, BRIGADIER GENERAL JOSELITO B RAMOS AFP on 23 October 2017 and accorded him honors as he set foot inside the grounds of 410th MW Complex. BGEN RAMOS was an engineering student at the University of the Philippines-Diliman before he eventually decided for a career in the military by entering the Philippine Military Academy and becoming a proud member of the “MARINGAL” Class of 1988. After his cadetship in the academy, he took up the Undergraduate Pilot Training at the Philippine Air Force Flying School where he earned his military pilot wings. He acquired his helicopter flying skills when he took and finished with flying colors the following courses: Copilot Qualification Course, Pilot Qualification, and Instructor Pilot Qualification Course for the UH-1H/B205A-1 type of helicopter. He learned the nitty gritty of the aircraft maintenance when he took up the Aircraft Maintenance Officer Course and graduated Number 1 in his class. For his military career courses, BGEN RAMOS finished his AFP Command and General Staff Course Class 42 and was awarded with the prestigious Commanding General, Philippine Air Force Award and Honor Graduate Award. Aside from his military schooling, he took up Master of Social Science in Defence Studies at University Kebangsaan, Malaysia. He likewise completed the Master of Science in Information Technology at the University of New South Wales, Australia and Master in Management Technology at the De La Salle Lipa. His enthusiasm and quest for excellence did not only manifest in the field of aviation. He also honed his skills and knowledge in the fields of strategic planning, education and training, doctrines development, defense resource management, flight safety, and strategic human resource management. During his remarks, BGEN RAMOS said that foremost he gives all the glory to the Almighty. He likewise extended his profound gratitude to his wife and kids and other members of his family, including his mentors and friends as he take another leap and those who were with him in all his undertakings in his colorful military career. He gratefully shared this blessing with the 410th MW family, stressing that he would not be able to accomplish all notable Depot Level Maintenance projects and activities without the wholehearted support and dedication to him as the “Chief Restorer”.
